Indian artisans, often from lower castes, suddenly become the closest business partners of prestigious fashion designers in a revolutionary movement that forms the subject of Weaving Changes, a documentary by Philine Kriependorf that highlights key challenges and opportunities associated with the cultural movement of reinventing craft in India.

A graduate of the Copenhagen Business School whose field of study include social entrepreneurship and cultural transformation, director Kriependorf developed this visually as well as economically compelling documentary as part of her research into collaborative innovation processes between Indian textile designers and artisans.
